Geriatric Orthopedics (Visit Resource)

Chapter in New Frontiers in Geriatrics Research 2003 It is vital at this time to evaluate the agenda for research on orthopedic management of geriatric patients. We approached this task by surveying the orthopedic literature to assess the status of knowledge and the quality of research on which present practice is based. By detecting areas where research has been lacking or of poor quality, or where results have been inconsistent or controversial, we have identified research studies that are urgently needed.
