Sibsats

Scottish Intercollegiate Board for Standards and Training in Surgery (SIBSATS). The site exists primarily to inform surgical trainees and hospital staff of the standards of training presently to be expected in hospitals in Scotland. The role of SIBSATS is to supervise basic surgical training in Scotland for the Colleges. The SIBSATS website exists to inform, and to enable surgical trainees to have full and up-to-date information of the quality and accessibility of surgical training posts in Scotland. Since 30 September 2005, we are now working in conjunction with PMETB regarding hospital inspections.
